Your
tour will cover Sabah and Sarawak, another 2 states
of Malaysia located at Borneo. Your tour is start from
Sabah. Located in the northeastern tier of the island
of Borneo with Kota Kinabalu as a capital, serves as
the gateway to the varied attractions of the state.
A 2 hours ride from the town brings you to the 754sq
km Kinabalu Park is easily accessible and is favorite
for breathtaking view of the lush surrounding.
The next visit will be the world largest Orang Utan
rehabilitation center is located at Sepilok, a 20-minute
drive from the town of Sandakan. From here your guide
will take you to Sukau to view the unique proboscis
monkey in its natural habitat, a variety of wildlife
and perhaps, the rare clouded leopard. The engrossing
thrill of turtle watching can be experienced on the
islands of Selingan. The island is also a sanctuary
for numerous migratory birds. You will then depart to
Mulu, where numerous cave waiting for you to discover
its beauty. Back to Kuching, the state capital of Sarawak
where the influence of the British is reflected in the
architecture of some of its public building. After which
you will visit Bako National Park. With its rainforest,
abundant wildlife, jungle streams, waterfalls, interesting
plant life, secluded beaches and trekking trails, Bako
National Park offeresvisitors anexcellent introduction
to the rainforest of Borneo.
Another highlight of a holiday in Sarawak is to go on
a safari up its mighty rivers like the Lemanak. Make
it a point too to experience life in longhouse, once
the home of notorious headhunters.
