Description:
One
and a half hour’s by boat and 40KM north of Sandakan
in the Sulu Sea, lies Sabah third marine Park, one of
the most important turtle breeding spots in The South
East Asia. Designated as a marine park, the island of
Selingan, is safe haven for endangered Green Turtles
and Hawksbill Turtles. Strangely, these turtles only
lay their eggs in their original birthplace. So after
30 years of turtle conservation, the success is now
clearly evident as more turtles make their pilgrimage
every year.
Next destination is the Sepilok Orangutans center. Experience
a close encounter with the Orangutans which undergoing
a rehabilitation program return to the wild and a tour
on Sandakan, which include Malay fishing village and
a Buddhist temple with a spectacular view of the town.

What to bring: loose-fitting summer
clothing, item of personal use, hat,
sun block, swimwear, insect repellent,
light/small backpack to put your things,
flat walking shoes with good condition,
rain coat, change of clothes, torch
or flashlight, camera (optional)

HRS and 1430 HRS local time daily

- Within the Turtle Island no person
shall (except with written permission
from the Park Director): take photographs
of the turtles anytime during the
day or night, take panoramic photographs
during the night (between 1800 HRS
and 0600 HRS) or carry out any videotography
or cinematography.

off), 5 – 11 years (20% off)
Note: All boat transfers to Turtle
